In addition to the facility, which is well-kept and very welcoming, I greatly appreciated the management of Ioannis, the owner, he marries a concept of hospitality that leads him to offer what he would want to find if the guest were himself. This looks positively throughout: from the equipment and elegance of the room, to the fantastic breakfast, to its discreet but generous presence of useful advice. All this contributes to a feeling of real and satisfying relaxation.
Modern amenities while preserving traditional look and feel, very comfortable room, great location to discover iconic beaches of the west of Crete - Balos and Elafonisi (must do both), 100m from several great restaurants but far enough for peace and quiet, great host and owner Ioannis, speaks wonderful english and serves the best breakfast! totally worth it!
We really enjoyed our stay in Kaliviani Traditional Hotel. Its located in a cute little village close to the most beautiful beaches. Ioannis was always helpful. Our room was cleaned every day and had a spectacular sea view. It's also close to the best restaurants.
